Kuppam Engineering College was inaugurated by the technology-savvy Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri. N. Chandra Babu Naidu garu on 11-09-2001. The Institute was promoted by a well-known philanthropist Sri. B.C. Nagaraj, MBA, Founder Chairman of BCN Group of Institutions. KEC is an Autonomous Institution accredited by NBA & NAAC with A Grade, certified by ISO 9001:2015, and recognized by UGC under 2(f) & 12(b). KEC is graded 'A' by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Under the leadership of the young and dynamic Vice-Chairman, Dr. N. Sunil Raj, M.B.B.S., the institution is working with an objective for phenomenal growth.
Our Secretary, N. Sagar Raj, MBA, M.Tech, is committed to inspiring students to reach their goals through innovative programs and comprehensive support. The Institute is headed by a dynamic Principal, Dr. S. Sudhakar Babu, who has strong academic and administrative experience. Kuppam Engineering College is built on a sprawling 55-acre campus of elevated land and surrounded by pollution-free lush green scenic vegetation on the northern fringe. It is well-connected by road and rail—only 105 km from Bangalore (Silicon City), 180 km from Chennai, and 110 km from Chittoor. The climate is very similar to that of Bangalore. The nearest railway station is Kuppam and the nearest airport is Bangalore.
